Panasonic Toughbook Connects Learning Around the World!
My students need to discover all that technology can offer them as they further their 21st century education by powering up a classroom PANASONIC TOUGHBOOK.
Technology is expanding so quickly and it is so important for our students to remain fresh, up to date and current as 21st century learners. A Panasonic Toughbook would provide them with a multitude of opportunities to explore the web, both in small and large group instruction.
Inquisitive, computer and technologically savvy, yes, this describes my student population!
They are eager, bright and always ready to discover new opportunities and ways to learn. Education has changed in so many ways and we as educators must be ready, willing and able to conform with the learning that is occurring in the 21st century. I teach ART to almost 400 students a week and I am always on a quest to teach my students skills that will help them both in school and in life beyond. My students know the opportunities that are available with the 'click of a mouse' but resources are limited in the schools with our current economic situation. All schools are experiencing funding issues, but we must find innovative ways to help them achieve the learning, and Donorschoose is one avenue that can help!
My Project
My Project: Visiting virtual art museums, connecting with faraway places, yes, students of today are learning in so many new and exciting ways due to the myriad of opportunities available to them via the world wide web! They are bright and need to learn with up to date technology. The economy is rough but that shouldn't effect our students learning and our educational system must continue to progress! The learning opportunities for my students is endless in our 21st century world! We need technology! We need computers! We need to teach our students to be GLOBAL Learners and a PANASONIC TOUGHBOOK will bridge our learning! We need your help! Yes, laptops are the future, and someday all our students will have them, but until then, we're requesting 'one laptop', to be utilized by almost 400 students in individual, small groups or large group instruction. Our students world is digital, quick fast, and effective but we need equipment to keep up with the learning.
A Panasonic Toughbook will provide my students with the right tools they need for the right time, yes, now!
They will utilize this toughbook to explore virtually art museums all over the world, to collaborate with other students, to research, to explore and to learn. Our students must be prepared as 21st century learners to connect via the web, globally and locally. This one Toughbook will be an integral part of our ART education, as almost 400 students will benefit.
