My Project

Hello! I’m an elementary school counselor at a Title I school and teach an after school art enrichment program, Palette Pals. My current session includes 32 students in both 3rd & 2nd grade.

One of our projects involves the use of cyanotype paper (sun art paper) and will encourage these young artists to be observant of shapes, patterns, and sizes of leaves, plants, and nature objects.

Due to the sensitive nature of the paper, I would like for students to have the opportunity to frame their work. The wooden frames would also allow an additional project as students would be able to paint and personalize their frames.
