This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are early childhood special education students and/or English Language Learners. I love how eager and excited they are about learning! These students are tenacious and express so much joy at identifying as readers, writers, and storytellers. The range in age from kindergarten to 1st grade students and have a range of disabilities and/or English Language Learner levels.

This project will help support our Acceleration Academy, a program that celebrates student learning and expands their knowledge about new topics!

The academy is taking place during February vacation week and is a celebration of the learning and the hard work students have done so far this year!

My Project

I am requesting dinosaur related materials which will help my students explore and learn about different dinosaurs. Your donation will help foster a new love of learning! The books will help students research new dinosaurs to create a news show interviewing dinosaurs, or create and perform a play.

Decorations will help transform our school and the minds of our students as they discover the world of dinosaurs during our Acceleration Academy.

Your donations will help make our academy and February vacation week an unforgettable learning experience for our students! Help students rediscover the magic of learning, reading, and writing!
