My Project
I am excited to share an opportunity that will support young readers! I have the privilege of encouraging students to develop a lifelong love of reading. This year, we launched a challenge for our students to read 100 books! To celebrate their incredible achievement, I will be hosting a Popcorn and Pajama Day when students can relax, enjoy a well-earned treat, and celebrate their reading success while listening to a story that goes with our pajama theme.
I am seeking donations to provide individual bags of healthy popcorn for every student who reaches their reading goal and books to reward students who exceed 100 books.
These specific items will make a meaningful impact on our students’ learning by reinforcing reading as a joyful and rewarding experience. Celebrating their hard work with a fun, literacy-centered event encourages continued engagement with books and fosters a reading culture.
My goals for this project are to motivate students to read independently and develop strong reading habits, celebrate students’ achievements in a way that reinforces the joy of reading, encourage students to set and surpass personal reading goals, and provide books as prizes to recognize students who go above and beyond.
Our students are curious, hardworking, and eager to grow as readers. Many of them are building their home libraries for the first time, and having their own book as a reward will further encourage their reading journey. By supporting this project, you are not only celebrating their success but also investing in their literacy development.
Would you be willing to contribute to this celebration? Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity will help create a memorable event that reinforces the importance of reading and perseverance.
