Paiute Language Regalia Project

My Project

The Paiute Language class is going to make regalia for their language competition at the end of the year. We would like to make ribbon skirts for young ladies and ribbon shirts for the young men. The regalia will improve our classroom curriculum. We have incorporated language, food, music, environment and medicine. The regalia will be an addition to our program. The Paiute language class is one of three class in northern Nevada. We want to continue improve our class by exposing our curriculum to the students of Spanish Springs To increase our class numbers 50 plus students
