My Project
My students are wildly creative and have an appetite for learning variety. As an art teacher, it can be difficult to find art projects that reach all of our athletes, artists, and academics alike. This project is about street art and has just the edge they LOVE. A class favorite, our spray painting unit is all about how to LEGALLY participate in spray painting street art.
We learn about permits, public walls, and look at how street art and "high-brow" art have historically intermingled to make artistic expression available to all!
Spray paint is an expensive material that has only gotten worse with inflation and this class favorite is in danger this year. Can you help me keep this student favorite alive?
