Background Info: I teach high school and have a large number of unique students.
Help me create a classroom with red walls for my unique students to help them focus on conjugation charts , blue work wall areas to calm my students with severe anxiety complexes/trauma and a bookshelf/pencil organizer to help house materials for my hands on students.
You will notice from the pictures that I have tried to glue up paper for the red walls, I even used "permanent" adhesive but it has fallen several times throughout the year and my principal has given me the go to paint it if I can. Please help me do this, the red wall helps focus my kids so well and the blue wall (not in picture) helps calm the kids.
The ice maker, rug, bookshelf and organizer are to create a student study center. I have several autistic children that take refuge in my room during lunch time, these items will help them feel more secure. All of these items will create a class centered around calming and focusing all my students, regardless of what struggles they bring to class.
