My Students

Have you ever wondered what it's like to teach in a premier neighborhood Chicago Public High School full of diverse, inquisitive and delightful young people? Let me tell you, it's wonderful!

I look forward to school each day because my students are among the kindest teenagers I've ever taught.

Most of my students seek opportunities to take art classes as a way to balance their rigorous daily schedule and my department works tirelessly to promote creative problem solving through relevant and engaging curriculum. I wrote this project to restock some of our art room staples.

My Project

My art students have happily painted their way through my stock of white acrylic paint and brush cleaner. We are requesting painting essentials like white paint and brush soap. We use these items in nearly every project so it's been limiting since we just ran out.

By contributing to my project, you'll enable all five of my AP Studio Art and Studio Drawing and Painting classes to further improve their skills in painting, color mixing, and making awesome artworks.

Plus, there's no excuse to leave dirty brushes without proper brush cleaner! With your help, we can restock the basics and delve into longer painting projects at the start of second semester.
