Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

An end-of-year celebration serves several important purposes for students: It acknowledges students' hard work and achievements throughout the year. It's a way to celebrate their progress and growth, whether academically, socially, or personally. It marks the end of a chapter, providing closure to the academic year. This can be especially significant for students transitioning to a new grade, school, or phase of life. It can serve as motivation for students to finish the year strong. Knowing that there's a celebration awaiting them can encourage them to stay focused and engaged until the end. It allows students to reflect on their experiences and memories from the year. This reflection can help reinforce learning and personal growth. Overall, an end-of-year celebration can be a positive and memorable way to wrap up the school year and send students off into the next chapter of their lives. My students have worked hard all year and rewarding them with celebrations and activities for the summer is a way for me to show my heart-felt appreciation. They are so deserving of this.
