Picasso is known for his portraits and paintings, and I know that I have many future great artists in my classroom. I give the students a chance to learn about an artist and paint just like them. We just don't have the room to place their paintings while they dry. We need a drying rack and brushes.
Art is a favorite subject in my classroom.
Students love to learn different art techniques that different artists use. It is thrilling for students to create their own masterpieces. Their own personal style shows through their art work. Even students who don't think they can be artistic become inspired with their pictures. In art, students can have fun while learning more about themselves and famous artists.
My Project
In my classroom, I have very little counter space. I am constantly moving science, math and books around whenever I have an art project my students are doing. On days that I have my students do a painting project, we never have enough room in my classroom to let the paintings dry unless I use their desks. That causes problems if I have other assignments for my students to complete. A drying rack will save valuable space for my students. New paint brushes will replace the old and cheap brushes that have been used for years in my classroom. Students will always enjoy my art class, but these supplies will take away many headaches from compensating and adjusting to make art successful.
My students are great artists and new paint brushes and a drying rack will help them become fantastic artists.
