Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The Student population at my school is varied and vibrant. Many come from troubled homes where art is their safe place for expression. They love being able to be themselves and show off their talents.

My students do not have the means to buy these materials outside of school, so the classroom is the only way they will be able to experience art.

Many are forced into adulthood quickly but art allows them to remain in their childhood and actually create their dreams and imaginations for the future.

My Project

Painting allows these students to experience things they won't be able to outside of school. It opens up their imagination, and allows them to experience things with a different part of their brain.

These classroom sets will extend beyond this year and could possibly aid over 600 students.

It's a simple donation that will impact students for years to come. These sets will also allow them the means to enter more competitions throughout the year where they have previously done very well. Through your donation you will help these students understand that they are worth investing in for the future.
