My Project

Our students love to paint. We go thru so much art supplies though out the school year. This project would ensure that the students can have a daily rotation to explore different paints and create their own masterpieces. It would provide endless opportunities for them to be creative and use their imagination. Art and especially painting is such a great outlet for students at this age to explore the world around them and make connections from what they see and how they imagine it. When they are able to freely explore what interests them it helps build confidence and self-esteem. Painting also helps with fine motor skills, cognitive development and learning about colors. Finally, it is a relaxing activity and a good way for students to help regulate emotions.
