Paint with More Than a Brush

Help me give my students art magazines to further research, Kwik Stix Tempra Paint to further their uses of paint. As well as Picasso Tiles to help them build and explore further with the use of STEAM.

My Students

These students have a love of art. Many students come from homes that they would not have access to some of the supplies and resources I’m requesting. The supplies being requested allow for the exploration of the arts. I want to be able to show them there is so much more then just your average drawing and painting supplies in the art world. Being able to see their faces light up when they get to use various art supplies and techniques from the norm is the best.

My Project

The Scholastic art magazines are for my older students to broaden their knowledge of various artists, as well as learn about up and coming artists.

Painting with more than a brush is allowing students to use material that is still paint based but without a standard paint brush.

My goal is that with the Kwik Stixs students won't be as hesitate to use them freely as they are typically with paint. The Kwik Stixs allow for better control of where the paint is going for my younger students.

Lastly is Picasso tiles to help my younger students explore and building in the world of STEAM.
