My Project

Each year I take a look at my supplies that are meant to be used year after year to see what wear has been placed on them. It is typical to keep paint brushes for many school years with proper washing and storing. However, there always comes a time when things like paint brushes need to be replaced.

My students have not had new, quality paint brushes in a very long time, if ever.

I would love for them to have the opportunity to use paint brushes that are both good quality and will last my classroom twice as long as my previous brushes have. Painting is something students look forward to and expect to do when they come to art class. While there are many ways to use paint, such as using your fingers, sponges or other recyclables, paint brushes are the key to learning and developing a skill so that one can move forward in medium such as paint.
