This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My PreK students spend their school days with hands-on activities, lots of exploration, and plenty of time to play! Some of the students in our class have an identified disability, and they receive various interventions and supports throughout their school day. Singing, free play, art projects, and read-aloud stories are some favorite parts of the PreK experience.
My students need paint, art paper, and aprons so that they can express themselves creatively, develop both fine and gross motor skills, and improve their eye-hand coordination.
We use paint every day, whether painting large letters and numbers, using q-tips to paint with precision, or on an easel during free play. Painting is one of the children's favorite activities, and this paint will allow us to paint all year!
