My Project

My students are SO creative! They love painting, sculping, and creating in order to express their ideas. In my second grade class we use art to engage with difficult concepts in math, science, social studies, and literacy in a way that gets students excited about learning and makes them feel confident. We also use daily and weekly art time in order for students to practice their social emotional skills and connect with new friends and peers.

In our classroom now, our art supplies are many years old.

The paint sets are missing colors, the plastic cracked and broken, and our playdoh is dry and difficult to use. New supplies will make my second graders feel important and inspire them to do their best!
