This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! This past year we were unable to do something that is essential in a kindergarten classroom, share a space on a carpet for whole group learning. Instead of lessons on the carpet they were spent with each student at their own individual desks. My students are hands-on, active, and love to take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
My Project
My students LOVE to use our painting easel during choice time. It's a class favorite. Unfortunately our easel has a broken shelf and wobbly leg making it really hard for students to enjoy.
I would love to be able give my students a new painting easel that they can enjoy this year and in the years to come.
Along with the easel students will also enjoy new paintbrushes and easel paper that they can create on. My students are creative and I would love to see how their art develops throughout the year with the use of new painting supplies!
