Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This paint will help us create art projects for over 400 kids in the Art room. We will create art from all over the world and work on skill building as well as craftsmanship when creating artwork. Students will gain understanding of color mixing, paint application, and fine motor skills when using this paint.
The use of paint is a daily activity in my art room.
Students get to take these projects home with them and show their parents what they have been working on. Because I teach so many students a week, I only see each class once a week. I need paint that is going to last, look good, and give students the skill when painting.
I see about twenty four classes a week, and some projects take multiple class periods. Students need a good paint that will last through the weeks. This paint will help us create both 2d and 3d work as well as murals that we can hang up in the school.
