This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year we have an assembly booked in October teaching students about the 5 R's: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle, Reduce, and Refuse. This project is an art project following the assembly to showcase what students learned.
Help us give our students paint brushes to carry a message about the 5 R's.
We plan to have students paint on canvas a message for our classroom, school, and neighborhood communities. There are many ways in which we can reduce plastics or paper usage. There are many ways we can promote reusable items such as water bottles and masks. Lastly, there are conversations which can be had around how and what to recycle at our homes. Help us give our students an art experience to promote the 5 R's.
