This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Learning about correct grammar can often be dry and boring. That's why I want to give my students a memorable hands-on experience! We're going to perform surgery on words as we learn about roots, prefixes, and suffixes.

Paging all Grammar Doctors!

In order to make this activity as immersive as possible, we need to dress the part. This project will provide surgical gowns, gloves, hair nets, and masks to make my students look and feel the part. They'll be fully in character as they perform surgery on words and use their knowledge of roots, prefixes, and suffixes.
