My Project

At our small Title 1 school nestled in southeastern Kentucky, my students' love for learning is undeniable, but their struggles with math persist due to limited resources. That's why I'm reaching out for assistance to obtain the Math in Practice Grade 3 Pack and Math by the Book: Third Grade Pack. These resources offer comprehensive modules to deepen understanding and integrate literature-based learning. With the Math In Practice Grade 3 Pack resources, I will address misconceptions, tailor instruction, and guide my students towards mathematical proficiency.

My goal is to ignite a passion for math and foster academic success through literature-infused learning experiences.

By strategically linking stories to math skills and concepts, as offered in Math by the Book: Third Grade Pack, my math instruction will transform into engaging, culturally enriching experiences. These children's books will expose my students to diverse cultures, broadening their perspectives and fostering empathy. Through real-world contexts and meaningful connections, we'll spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of mathematics, empowering my students to overcome educational barriers and thrive academically.

What makes my students truly special is their resilience and eagerness to learn despite facing significant challenges.
