My Project

A book club establishes a sense of community within the 5th and 6th grade. Students will collaborate with peers when they finish a book. They will be able to share experiences, discuss reactions, evaluate the characters and much more. At times, students may even get in a healthy debate with other book club members.

If a student is in a book club, it will encourage more reading.

This will help create new habits.

Students will also get an opportunity to read books outside of their comfort zone. This will create a more well-rounded student.
