Paddles Up!

Help me give my students Write & Wipe Answer Paddle Boards and dry erase erasers (and storage bins) so I can quickly access individual understanding of concepts being taught.

My Students

First graders are the best! I love how eager they are to learn and how everything is so exciting and new for them. I teach first grade in a growing suburban area with mixed economic demographics and ethnic backgrounds. School doesn't officially start until August 20, but after looking over my students' records, I will be starting the year with a class of 21 students who are coming with a very wide range in abilities. It is anticipated that my class will continue to grown in size rapidly through the year as more houses are finished being built in our school boundaries.

I want to make learning as fun and engaging for my students as possible and am always looking for new ways to keep learning fresh and interesting.

My Project

The whiteboard paddles and markers I am requesting will be a fun and engaging way to rapidly assess my students' learning in subjects across the board. The storage bins will give my students a great place to store the paddles so they will be better preserved and be able to be used for many years to come.

With a quick raise of their paddles, my students will be able to show their understanding of concepts and write responses to my questions.

After this I will be able to give immediate praise or correction to each individual student.

Using these paddles will make learning feel more like a game! I'm excited to bring these new tools into my classroom.
