This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will absolutely love the opportunity to play pickleball! It’s a fast-growing, exciting sport that gets everyone moving and having fun. The versatile nets can also be used for tennis and badminton, giving us multiple ways to stay active and engaged. These games promote teamwork, coordination, and lifelong fitness skills, and they can be easily modified so that all students, regardless of ability can participate and succeed. Adding this equipment will bring energy, variety, and inclusion to our PE program. It’s a great way to introduce students to sports they can enjoy both in school and throughout their lives!
