This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please consider helping me add to my classroom library for my diverse group of students. I work at a Title I school that has a large population of Pacific Islander Students. Unfortunately, I do not have very many books to offer students that celebrate and educate about this important culture.
I want to expand my classroom library to make it more diverse and welcoming to different cultures.
Providing books that celebrate, respect, and educate about Pacific Islander culture will not only help my Pacific Islander students, it will help all of my students build a sense of community and respect with each other.
