My Project

We would love a class set of ozobots for our science and CTE teachers to use in our classrooms. They would be shared by 7 teachers serving over 500 kids between grades 6-8.

Our goal is to teach students coding, problem solving, modeling, and more STEM skills!

Some specific things we want to do is:

- use ozobots to show solar eclipes and planet revolution

- create energy roller coasters/amusement parks

- show movement of thermal energy and atomic particles

- show flow of energy in ecosystems and food web

- populations effects like genetic drift, bottlenose effect, etc.

We serve a Title 1 school with 95% of our students qualifying. We have an extremely diverse students group with 25 different cultures and 18 languages represented. Many of our students have never had science or STEM before they get to us and less than 1% have seen/interacted with any kind of robtos or coding before us. We have introduced them to hour of code but it's the not the same. Our students deserve to have this amazing experience, learn new skills, and get to experience the amazing world of STEM and robots. Please consider donating so we can truly make learning come alive for our students and give them unique learning opportunities!
