My students need items for classroom organization. They need bins to keep books and journals. Students also need paper bins for turning in classroom assignments. Our classroom needs an announcement board for posting daily information.

My Students

My students are excited to learn! They live in a small county in eastern North Carolina and attend a K-2 school. The socioeconomic statuses of families vary greatly, but we attempt to provide equal opportunities for each child.

Our students see their classmates and those within our school as a family.

Friendships are strengthened daily through cooperative learning and play. Our students are working to show patience, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence during the school day and as they venture into the community.

My Project

These items will set the stage for simple organization and consistency. Since Kindergarten is the foundation, we like to teach them simple ideas for owning their materials.

Our students will benefit from having their own bins for holding their math journals, guiding reading books and other classroom supplies.

The requested paper bins will be used for organizing our centers and for daily assignments. Daily announcements will be placed on the felt board during morning meeting, by students and teachers as a way of reviewing current events and announcements. Organizing, owning and understanding their own classroom is the key to success!
