Owl Pellets, Let’s See What You Just Had For Lunch!

Help me give my students owl pellets to dissect. They are able to touch and see parts of the owl food chain through dissecting owl pellets.

My Project

My classroom begins with appalling sounds and soon is overtaken with onomatopoeias. My students are fascinated by what they find in the pellets.

This activity concludes a week of learning about the fascinating owl.

Their food chain along with their personal characteristics are studied. This is an activity that my students remember.

I need your support to make this activity happen. Learning through research and reading only goes so far. Providing each of my students an owl pellet to observe and dissect allows for group conversations and a deeper understanding of the owl.
