Owl Pellet Dissection Lab

Help me give my students the experience of investigating these owl pellets to explore food webs.

My Project

We will use these Owl pellets and Owl Pellet Dissection Kit to give my students a hands-on learning experience to make learning come to life. Many adults still remember dissecting owl pellets as a 5th Grader. The students will be able to piece together what they find in the pellets during dissection.

Dissection will help them understand food chains while having a hands-on experience to increase their interest and retention.

I would like to have a lab day close out our first semester to give the students exposure to a lab setting, encouraging their interest in science.
