Do you remember your third grade teacher? Well, I want my students to remember their third grade teacher and classroom. I want them to learning organization and technology in our OWL themed classroom.
My students are the most amazing group of third graders.
They are a diverse group of students and they are currently attending a three star school (5 stars possible) and we didn't make AYP previously. We aren't a Title I school therefore; we don't have any additional funds for computer usage or programs.
My Project
These chair organizers and technology programs will enable my students to have places to keep their books, whiteboards, highlighters, bookmarks, and allow them to be used daily. The chair organizers will also enable me to really help me show some of my students organizational skills to learn the importance of having their own items and how to care for them. The technology programs would be a wonderful addition to our classroom because we currently have two computers in our classroom and the Smart Board programs would allow all students to be actively engaged and participating.
This project is very important to me because I know that my students need more room but I can't give them that; however; with donors like you, I can make their year better and meaningful at the same time.
I can utilize these materials each year and the students would benefit from them through daily use. This project allows my current and future students an opportunity to learn very important life skills: organization and technology. Thank you for taking the time to consider our classroom.
