My Project

My classroom is considered a specialized classroom with a variety of needs for sensory input. The fidgets, Aquarium Lamp, sensory tiles and other materials that I have chosen will give the students in my class the chance to redirect, channel their feelings and emotions hopefully before having a meltdown. The canopy will give them a place to go where they can work on their emotions.

Channeling my students' feelings and emotions before they have a sensory overload, or meltdown will give my students more time for learning in order to be successful.

Each student in my classroom is unique in her or his own way. Every student is capable of learning if giving the correct materials and opportunity. The items I selected will give my students the opportunity needed to succeed.
