I teach students that are in Special Education. The project will help increase student engagement through correct use of technology in hopes of preparing our youth for future careers. Zwolle Elementary School uses ExactPath, a computer researched based program that accelerates students and/or closes gaps where needed. The student takes a beginning assessment that then determines a prescription for that student. Sabine Parish School System was attacked by a virus days before school started. In the past years, I have had at least 6 student computers. With the virus, I am down to one teacher computer and no student computers. These materials would help my students close in the necessary gaps to accelerate their learning.
