Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am working with special needs and ESL students in a high-need community. The students range in age and academic ability. My students rely on different modalites of instruction. The use of visual presentation is crucial for students learning English. Children who have learning disabilities also benefit from visuals. An overhead projector provides the means for the teacher to use pictures, model, and share other student's work. A new classroom overhead projector will greatly benefit this population of students; as it will provide differentiated learning opportunities. Your help will make this possible.
