My Students

I am truly happy and lucky to work with unique students every day. My learners are proud of their accomplishments, but also struggle with sensory issues. My students goals are to be able to fit in any school classroom and activities without having a sensory overload.

My class is about building skills so that all of my students may be included no matter what their sensory needs are.

The thing that often holds my students back is their sensory issues. Because of their sensory issues they are often behind socially, emotionally, and academically. My students are funny and personable and will benefit from getting there sensory meltdowns under control. Thank you for considering this project.

My Project

I am requesting funds to attend a virtual online course on Sensory Meltdowns. Overcoming Sensory Meltdowns will help my co-workers and me in the classroom to meet the needs of students with sensory issues. This course has 21 videos and printable resources. This course will provide me with valuable information that I can start using today. My students will benefit because if we can recognize and prevent sensory meltdowns, it will create equal opportunities for them to learn. We all will benefit by being able to recognize, prevent, and respond to sensory challenges so that each student will have a chance to succeed.

This course will allow me to recognize and prevent sensory meltdowns in my classroom to meet the needs of all of my students.

The knowledge that I learn from this course will allow me to help my co-workers and myself to increase our knowledge of sensory meltdowns by responding appropriately to the challenges students face when they are having a sensory meltdown. Thank you for considering supporting my project.
