Chicago Public Schools has experienced an influx of students who do not speak English. Based on the curriculum and in order to support these English Language Learners, I need to be able to accommodate their needs.
Providing my students with devices that will help them translate and learn the English language will ease the process of learning a different language.
This year my classroom changed quickly. I had to be creative in communicating with my students. My goal was to assist the ELL students with learning the language and curriculum and be able to provide devices that the English-speaking students could use to partner with non-English speaking students.
