My Project
Students with disabilities in my Algebra classes are learning to struggle with purpose to overcome fears of math. They need multiple opportunities to practice skills in different ways in order to master this critical content. Providing fun tools like large graph paper, markers and yard sticks will help them attack graphing with purpose instead of fear when they are able to demonstrate their learning like teachers do- on big chart paper and poster board! This will increase pride in work and neatness in following processes to graph equations and inequalities to show the class their mastery of skills. It’s a win-win!
