My Students

The 300 student-athletes of our school are very hardworking individuals who are very competitive both on the field and track and in the classroom. These students are very committed and determined. I teach in a low-income area. After being hit hard by Hurricane Irma, many families were at a loss. This help with new equipment for our school will bring the light back in these young children's eyes, and things will get back to normal sooner than later.

Participating in sports relieves the students' stress level and keeps them more focused!

My Project

This is a special project aimed at helping three very special middle and high school students. These students have shared how they have gone through unimaginable devastation from Hurricane Maria. They are displaced from the storm and are with us at our school now. These students have some very special needs and they are requesting tablets, baseball gloves, soccer gear, and running gear. I feel and they also feel that this will really help them to fit in and get going positively at our school. I know they will be over the moon and so appreciative for your support. Please help these students if you can.
