My Project

I’m incredibly grateful to begin my first year teaching at an alternative school, where many students have been defined by their past challenges. For some, our school is their last chance—and I want them to know they matter. Many face food insecurity, so I provide snacks to help them feel supported. I’m also focusing on building confidence through public speaking, and a podium would be a meaningful addition to empower their voices and give them a sense of pride as they share their stories. This is life changing for them.
