My students are Kindergarteners who are ready to learn! We are located in a suburban school district in the heart of the Midwest. My students come from various upbringings, cultures, and walks of life.
My Kindergarten classroom is a place where learning, fun, and growth all come together.
Kindergarten is one of the first structured learning experiences students encounter. In order to provide the best learning possible for my students, they need ways to move, play, learn, and grow all at once!
My students are happy, energetic, determined learners. They keep me laughing and learning on a daily basis!
My Project
We use technology in many ways in Kindergarten! Currently, we have 4 iPads in our classroom. My students love to use the apps on our iPads, but finding good quality, engaging apps for Kindergarten students to play and learn with can sometimes prove to be difficult.
In comes Osmo!
We were recently gifted an Osmo Genius kit by a previous parent at our school. The kids are in love! But, it's hard to share just one Osmo with 20 students!
With the Osmo system, students are fully engaged in different learning activities. These include language, reading, math, problem solving, and more! To make the Osmo system work, students must manipulate pieces to solve problems and complete their game. The Osmo system includes technology with hands-on learning!
The addition of Osmo work stations will impact the learning of my Kindergarten students for years to come! Thank you for considering donating to our learning needs!
