Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Exhibition presentations allow our students to participate in student enrichment and learning acceleration opportunities. Students get to pick a local or global issue that they are passionate about. Students complete their research on this issue and then put a plan in place to help "fix" or "solve" the issue. Students then will use the materials we're requesting to put together a beautiful presentation. To encourage a positive school environment, where families are always engaged in their students' school experience, we invite families to see these presentations. Other students, families, and additional school personnel use student-friendly rubrics to assess the presentations and help to donate to the issues that the students have picked. Exhibition promotes student and family agency and allows us to promote high levels of student discourse and engagement!
