Help me give my students an amazing outside classroom with 4 Lifetime Folding Picnic Tables! Students will have science lessons outside in our courtyard. The community area will also be used for lunchtime outside, and social-emotional support!
Our neglected and underutilized courtyard got a new makeover this year! The rotting wood, weeds, and old garden beds are gone, and we are ready to make it a school community place where students can learn in fresh air!
Donated pavers will be installed over half of the courtyard; we need your help obtaining picnic tables to complete our outdoor classroom!
The other half of the courtyard will be a pollinator garden and raised beds where students will grow plants and vegetables from seeds.
The picnic tables will be used for outdoor classroom instruction, a rotating schedule for class lunch outside, a social-emotional area to calm students, and family events such as "Muffins with Mom," frequently held at the school.
