This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The boys and girls are a great bunch of little scholars. Most are economically disadvantaged and lack many of the basics at home and at school. The children went through a lot due to the closing of schools. They are all trying to figure out how to deal with it all and learn in a safe place.

The children are a great bunch of kids that could use some equipment to get them outside and moving.

The little scholars are eager to learn and strive for excellence. They may be facing all sorts of challenges due to Covid-19, but they also need to go outside and move around.

My Project

The various outdoor items will get the boys and girls outside and moving. The materials will be given to the children to use at home.

The children will be sitting in front of a computer for a good part of the day so they need to go outside and move around.

To have a well balanced day the boys and girls not only need lessons in reading and math but also need to move around.

They need to jump, move and play. The balls are a fun way to move around and play catch. The balls also help with motor skills. The jump ropes will help the children with their "heart beeps". They can jump and skip til their little hearts are content. The hula hoops will also get the children outside and moving. What a better way to have a well balanced learning day.
