Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are Title I students in which we represent the poorest congressional district in the United States, and they don't have the same opportunities and experiences as those in more affluent communities.
These supplies will offer the students a unique alternative to indoor classroom learning by having the opportunity to sit outside and soak in nature, to reflect, and to draw what they see or feel.
For those who have difficulty with exposure to the sun, we can offer them a shady chair with a screen to at least be able to enjoy the same experience.
