Help me give my students Magnetic Building Blocks, Magnetic Construction Set, Kids Fort Building Kit and sensory STEM activities to use during outdoor center time.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We are a Title I school with great potential. I love my students and spend most of my out-of-the-classroom time developing projects to enhance their learning and well-being.They face great challenges outside of the classroom. We create a safe, fun, and empowering classroom for our students to thrive in all areas of their life. Our school is located in the inner city with underprivileged families striving for a better life.
I have an adorable classroom of Pre-K students this year.
They are kind, caring, and nice to each other. They help each other and enjoy each other's company. Parents send little items and treats to share with their classmates.
Outdoor learning is a ton of fun. Research shows that In outdoor settings, children are more motivated to work together in groups, which can improve their social skills. They learn to manage conflicts, communicate, and cooperate with their peers in a more effective manner.
We are going to receive new picnic table and sun hats in the next few days. These STEM toys, magnetic tiles, and building kits are just perfect for our outdoor center time. Can you just imagine what they will come up with using Kids Fort Building Kit. The Double-Sided Geoboard will help to increase 2 dimensional shape knowledge.
