Outdoor Safari Adventure!

Help me give my students outdoor exploration adventure kits, a butterfly growing kit, and nature books.

My Students

Our Norfolk, Virginia PreK students are amazing and resilient! We are located in a dedicated military town. All students have risk factors that qualify them for our program. I see the sparkle in their eyes when they login to the computer. Distance teaching is challenging, but with hands-on materials, we can help them thrive!

My Project

Our PreK students will be returning soon with the hybrid model. Some students will be learning from home and some will return to the classroom. We are restricted from using the playground equipment; therefore, I am asking for outdoor adventure kits for our children to explore the school grounds during outdoor time.

We will read about nature and then go on an outdoor adventure exploring!

My plan is to promote outdoor education as much as possible and to keep students safe by having individual materials. We will be learning about the life cycle of insects, plants, and animals. We will observe nature and become more aware of our outdoor environment using the outdoor adventure kits. I can't wait to see all of them dressed up to go exploring!
