This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come from low-income families and qualify for the free school lunch. Our preschoolers are now back at school and eager to learn. They are all unique and bring something interesting to the classroom. They like to challenge us in various ways, and what works with one student definitely does not work with the others.

My Project

During outdoor play, students need different areas of exploration. The different areas help reduce the number students in one area and helps keep the students safe. This also allows students to work on skills like gross motor, fine motor, and sensory.

With an outdoor kitchen play set, students will be able to do imaginary play and work on social skills.

Due to remote learning, many students have not been able to work on their social skills or imaginary play. By providing an out door kitchen those skills can be improved.
