My Project

Close your eyes. Go on! Close your eyes and think about your favorite place as a child. Where were you? Who were you with? What did it feel like?

Chances are, the place you thought of was somewhere outdoors.

The benefits of outdoor play for children are immense! This type of play encourages holistic development, impacting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being. It provides opportunities for gross and fine motor skill development, offers sensory exploration, encourages social interactions and cooperation, stimulates creativity and problem-solving, and helps children connect with nature. Outdoor play fosters a sense of wonder and curiosity that sets the stage for a love of lifelong learning.

The Lakeshore Pump & Play Mud Kitchen, Step2 Clubhouse Climber, Sandlock Sandbox Vinyl Sandbox Cover and Ground Barrier, 5 x 5 Feet - Heavy Duty - Commercial Grade, Clean Sand - 25-Lb. Box, and Balance & Play Tree Steps will be used to ensure developmentally appropriate opportunities are given daily to the ERES TK students.
