Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

TK and Kindergarten students learn through exploration and play. They need hands-on activities both in the classroom and in the yard, to grow academically, physically, and socially. Our school does not have enough opportunities for such in our play yard yet.

Please help our TK and Kindergarten students grow socially, physically, and academically through outdoor play!

We can provide many opportunities for the children to engage in conversation, to share, to develop friendships, to enhance fine motor and gross motor skills and so much more, if we have the outdoor play items we have requested.

We have sand and water tables in our yard, but no toys to play with in them. The addition of these items to our project wish list will allow the kids to socialize, develop fine motor skills, and to experiment with measurement, counting, and balancing.
