This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are wonderful children. They work hard at school everyday and they deserve to have a fun start to their day and fun activities to do during their recess time. The portable speaker and recess equipment will help my students refresh their minds and bodies during their morning time and recess time which will allow them to be more prepared to for their learning.

Music helps set the mood for the day.

With the portable speaker, I can play music outside during the morning to pump and excite the kids for the school day. It will help strengthen the bond between teachers and students by dancing and singing together.

The recess equipment will help my students have productive play time. Many students need support to know how to play outside. This equipment will give students more options on how to spend their time outside for a brain break.
