Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am the luckiest teacher in the world simply because my students love to come to school every day.
My students attend a public, elementary school that serves more than seven hundred fifty children.
About two hundred of these students are refugees from more than fifteen countries around the world. Most of them receive free or reduced-rate lunch, and 100% of the students in my class come from families with limited English. These kids enjoy simple pleasures. They get excited when a teacher brings popcorn at the end of a grading period to celebrate their achievements. They are very inquisitive and love discovering new things with little help. My students have the ability to amaze me every day.
My Project
I love to expose my kids to a variety of experiences to enhance learning. Exploring our school's Nature Center and use music to guide activities is a perfect way to keep my students completely engaged and highly motivated to try their best.
The Bluetooth speaker will be the ideal device to bring clear sound and music to my outdoor lessons.
Students will be fascinated by working outside while incorporating music of their choice.
All in all, it will be a unique opportunity for teacher and students to connect beyond the academic level. Music will be the link to make personal connections with my learners.
